Linking Your Data to InsMarkAfter agents have created basic illustrations in your software, the resulting illustration information needs to be transferred to InsMark to ensure InsMark accurately represents your product. The "Button File" was developed for this purpose. This file has been in use for over 30 years and is now taking on a new format in order to use it securely in the web. If your software is running as a web version, your Button File data is passed as an html post. The data in the html post must follow the specific format outlined in the Button File Web Specifications. If your software is running only as a hard disk version and you cannot implement the Button File Web Specification, call Chad Kluver 925-543-0517 for information.

Changes Needed in Your Carrier Software |
In your illustration software, you need to add at least one button for InsMark (see image below). When this button is activated, it must send the Button File to InsMark and launch InsMark's proposal software. This button historically has been available in the same location(s) as the Print and Preview options in your software. It does need to be in a location available after calculations are performed. Note: If you require that your illustration must be printed prior to linking the data to InsMark, we ask that you keep the InsMark button active (always), and instead of disabling the button, display a message informing the agent to print the illustration prior to linking to InsMark’s proposal software.
